1. Monsoon Journal is an independent English Newspaper

2. The newspaper’s 1st. Anniversary falls on 1st. July 2007

3. The Newspaper is distributed all over Toronto GTA through Sri Lankan and Indian stores

4. The Paper is made available to readers free of charge, subscribers pay for delivery or mailing.

5. The editorial content covers mainstream Canadian news, Sri Lankan news, Indian and world news, independent political news, Cinema and sports news specially for the younger generation, current religious articles, community news and events with photos, Health news, GTA job opportunities etc.

6.  The newspaper is targeted at the up and coming Tamil generation who are English literate.

7. The issue is released monthly and usually during the second week of the month

The Monsoon Journal Member Profiles: Together Everyone Achieves More is a voice to the voiceless; particularly of matters that are of humanitarian concern which needs to be brought to the eyes of Canadian and Global audience.

The Monsoon Journal takes pride in playing an integral role in connecting communities across our great city of Toronto and beyond by being a bridge of communication; and contributing to enrich the cultural traditions of the mosaic, that Toronto has come to be renowned globally.

It’s our pleasure to work on a community newspaper for a community full of so many people with fine passions, admirable skills and high ideals.
